Use EXDTHRIN Pour-On when nuisance fl ies are first seen in the shed (usually late spring). Treat early
to prevent the fly population from building, and every month while conditions for fl ies are favourable.
EXDTHRIN Pour-On is a water based synthetic pyrethroid insecticide for control of biting and sucking lice
(Bovicola bovis, Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus and Solenopotes capillatus) on cattle of
any age. It also controls nuisance fl y (Stomoxys calcitrans) for a period of up to four weeks. The period
of protection EXDTHRIN Pour-On will achieve is infl uenced by a number of factors such as the level of fl y
challenge, environmental and management factors. Therefore it is imperative that EXDTHRIN Pour-On is
considered part of an overall nuisance fly management plan. Maximum lice kill is achieved up to six weeks
after application, though relief of symptoms is rapid. DO NOT apply EXDTHRIN Pour-On to wet cattle. Do
not use if rainfall is pending. EXDTHRIN Pour-On is a non-systemic. It controls lice by dispersing externally
around the body of the animal; therefore accurate application is critical.
